This film is a historic documentary about the struggles of the Chicano people focusing of Colorado and New Mexico. The film discusses the origins of the current conditions of the Chicano Mexicano people (colonization). It discusses community struggles for land, against migra terror, against police brutality and for educational opportunities for Chicano Mexicano people. With a particular focus on 9 individuals whose lives were current short during the turbulent 60’s and 70’s. The film addresses a long overlooked struggle that of the Chicano Mexicano people for national liberation in occupied territories (aka USA “southwest”).
